My LSAT tutoring program

Independent LSAT tutor for 20+ years who firmly believes that I have cracked the code to the beautiful beast known as the LSAT. No “tricks”, (virtually) no random LSAT-prep jargon , but very real strategies that reveal the true patterns to the test.

I love the LSAT, but not a huge fan of building a website with bells and whistles. I do enjoy writing about the LSAT quite a bit though, so this site is primarily about LSAT content and strategy for any and all students, no matter what their experience and no matter what their experience with the test.

Rates and policies

First session: FREE 45-minute Zoom session. We talk about you, me, and my curriculum.

I always have a full plan of action, focusing on the specific needs and learning styles of each individual student.

Completing my entire curriculum it takes roughly 7 to 8 hour and I always recommend a couple of hours for review.

$120 hourly

$900 for 9 hours (recommended)

Payment is due AFTER the first true Zoom lesson (NOT after the FREE session).

While the $1200 or $1900 bulk payment is NOT refundable, I do NOT charge for canceled/rescheduled sessions.

Paid hours ARE transferable to someone else. In the end, I’ll be providing that 10 or 20 hours of tutoring no matter what, even if it’s not all to you.

I have developed an original LSAT Training Manual, a 16-page streamlined document that provides uniquely effective strategies and specific step-by-step methods for every question on the test. These strategies are not only easier to learn, but also (in my humble opinion) the most effective in the business.

A 4-page outline (including my cover page) of my manual can be downloaded here:

How my program works

I provide a full-service program, like a personal trainer for LSAT prep. I never tell students to forget what they’ve learned and always encourage different perspectives. But any student of mine needs only my training manual and actual LSAT tests. Nothing more.

I always have a full plan of action based on a students aptitude and experience.

My curriculum teaches easy-to-learn strategies not found anywhere else (I think), including:

How to achieve the right mindset (see my Training Manual cover page and my site content).

How to do homework in the right way (it’s all about reverse engineering)

How to deal with new information in the answers (including when it’s not acceptable).

A single, uniform approach to all correlation/causation/third-party issues.

How to apply negation quickly and easily to Necessary Assumption questions

Unique elements (the true code behind both assumption types and convoluted passages)

Formal logic from a completely different perspective (NO diagramming except some Inferences)

A method for cutting out convoluted language in flaw answer choices.

How to answer Parallel Reasoning more quickly than any other question type..

I’ve worked with all kinds of students with all kinds of backgrounds from all kinds of places. You and I haven’t met, but I’ve worked with you before. Several times, I’m sure.
